Julie Hamann is a native of the Shenandoah Valley and received a business degree from Radford University. She is a local property owner of single family homes and student rentals. She is also a Realtor in the Commonwealth of Virginia and prior to a profession in Real Estate she was the owner of a relocation company in the Richmond, Virginia area. Julie is married with four children and currently resides in Dayton.

Bernard Hamann was born in the Netherlands, and raised in Switzerland, Spain, and Colombia. After receiving a BS in Geology from Radford University he opted for a corporate career in International Sales & Marketing - living and working in England, Mexico, Brazil, and the US. Most recently, he has served as the Global Retail Sales Director with Rosetta Stone. Bernard resides in Dayton with his wife and four children. Owning and managing rental properties since 1997, Bernard understands the complexities of property ownership, and the need to provide quality products and services to both landlord and tenant.

Lauren is a native of the Shenandoah Valley. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, hiking with her dog, Milo, and spending time with her family. Lauren is a licensed sales person and has attended numerous conferences and classes to expand her knowledge of the Property Management field. She has excelled in her knowledge of the industry and has become Rocktown’s Senior Property Manager. Lauren has a great eye and can advise owners on what remodeling they need to do in order to obtain the highest rent possible. She is very effective in remodeling investment properties and is excited to see the equity grow in her owner’s investment property. Lauren also loves working with the residents of her properties to help them obtain the best rental available in the Harrisonburg and surrounding areas.

Jeff was born in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to the Valley when he was in 5th grade. He attended a small Art School in Raleigh, NC and earned a bachelors’ degree in Audio Engineering. After college, he moved back to the Valley to be around family. Since then he has broadened his experience and knowledge in many areas, from being a banker, financial advisor, an insurance adjuster, and patent classifier, to getting his Real estate license and becoming a property manager. He has always been interested in Real Estate and learning more about investment properties and has a goal to own his own investment properties in the future. In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with friends and family, along with having a passion for outdoor activities such as hunting/fishing, kayaking, skiing, golfing.

Kate was born and raised in Lynchburg, VA until moving to Harrisonburg in 2013 to pursue a B.S. from JMU in Hospitality Management. She started really gaining an interest in real estate after buying her first home with Rocktown in 2019. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, painting, musical theatre, watching Netflix, and spending time with her cats, family, and friends.

Eduardo, who goes by Eddie was born and raised in Cuba. He grew up in a small town like Harrisonburg.

After graduating from Dental School in 2015, Eddie moved to Venezuela and began working with a social community dental program to help the poor population in Favela’s Venezuelan. 

In early 2017, Eddie made the decision to leave Venezuela and move to the Shenandoah Valley. He fell in love immediately -from its scenic views, mountains, and hiking trails. Currently he’s an RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) but he loves the Real Estate world. He enjoys helping others to find a place to live.

Eddie and his dog, Zember, live in Harrisonburg. In his free time, Eddie enjoys running, hiking, camping, spending time with friends, traveling, and attending local and international music festival. He also loves cooking and all things related to beauty pageants. 

Laura Mello is a native of the Shenandoah Valley and joined the Army as a young adult. After finishing her service to her country, she received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Laura is a local property owner and is also a Realtor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Laura enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and connecting with her community through real estate.

Ashley has lived in the Valley her whole life and received a Degree in Accounting. She is passionate about helping others and enjoys working with the public.  In her free time, Ashley loves watching sports especially, watching her two sons play Basketball and Baseball!

Sharon was born in Winchester, VA and raised here in Harrisonburg. She has worked in office administration for over 15 years and lives with her Husband in Rockingham County. When she is not taking care of her summer and flower gardens, Sharon enjoys visiting local state parks and historical museums and homesteads.

Olga has recently moved to the Shenandoah Valley and joined the Rocktown Realty team in May of 2016. Olga has many years of experience in human resources, accounting and finance. Olga graduated from Russian Technical University with a Finance Degree, with Honors, in 2001. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and reading.

Giulianna was born and raised here in the Valley in Elkton, Virginia.  She grew up on a farm and has a passion for animals and working with others. Giulianna, has many years of customer service under her belt and through her dedication has left an indelible mark on all that she has worked with. In her free time she loves spending time with friends, family and above all else, her dog Bandit!  Her unwavering love for helping others has propelled her on a remarkable journey filled with joy, purpose and a commitment to making this world a better place.
